The "Squat Pot Stumps" link includes many varieties of bonsai material as well as some miscellaneous stumps. All will have been root washed, sawed flat, and potted in a squat pot nursery container. Branching has been cleaned out and the material will have been sheared twice during the year. Most stumps are $300 and under, some at $450 and higher. This is premium material, grown for bonsai.

New bonsai to post by Oct 31st, 08

This fall and early spring I will introduce many new bonsai/squat pot stumps. I have a super great selection of very LARGE chinese quince stumps. Extra nice movement, smooth trunks. wonderful patterned exfoliating bark and do they ever produce fruit! These will go fast, starting at $300.

Many tridents of all sizes will be available. These sell out year after year, check for yours soon. I am well known for super flat fiberous root systems, LARGE trunks and excellent branch ramification.

Field grown black pine will be available this spring. Really nice with growth close in and excellent ramification. SUPER short needles, most at or under 1". These are very limited and I doubt that many will even make the internet. Jump to see these NOW if you are into black pine.

Also an excellent selection of Japanese Black Pine bonsai are here now, best quality I have seen in the USA for many years, par excellence! VERY SHORT NEEDLES, most under 1".

50 Shimpaku, 12 year cuttings, container/field grown for yrs. Nice but somewhat wild. Excellent for classes for retail bonsai vendors. Must be SOLD as a unit. Move fast on this one, only $27.50 per.SOLD 10/25/08

Large junipers and a few medium sizes are ready for release this fall. These are very well cared for, established. Trunks up to 8 inches, 22" tall or so. Parsonai and San Jose and Green Mound available. NICE!

Nice selection of dwarf cork, reg cork elms. Nice trunks, good branching. Advanced. Dwarf leaves fit around 10 to a USA dime (.10) Nice thick cork. Some BIG trunks to be had! Siberian Elm also.

Red Pines, nice selection, starting at $275. real good branching, all growth very close in to the trunk. Short needles. Available as field grown and squat pot stumps.

RED JAPANESE MAPLES available this fall and spring. Limited selection, SOLD OUT last yr. Nice trunks and branching, multi trunk available.

Arakawa Japanese Maples ready this fall/spring. Single and muti trunk available, nice low splits. Nice bark! Really good branching. Instant bonsai. Some LARGER trunks ready. SOLD OUT last yr!

Medium sized shimpaku avaiable. Really nice trunk movement, all growth close in and full. Some larger. Instant bonsai quality. Starting at $300. Very desirable.

Domestic azaleas ready for shipment. Really nice, super good branching, grown for bonsai. Medium sized trunks, super clean. Starting at $400.

Japanese Boxwood available this fall. Nice trunks.

Mount Fuji cherries, dwarf mountain form, ready this fall. Choose either large whips or formed bonsai trunk. These guys bloom and bloom and bear fruit. Small leaf. Limited amount for release and will go fast!

Japanese Hornbeams ready this fall and spring. Larger trunk sizes, good trunk line and branching.

This fall I will release a wonderful selection of Japanese Maples, small green leaf. Classical and unusual trunklines available. Older trained trees with large trunks. Check soon, limited numbers go very fast!

I had closed off Nagasaki crabapple sales for some years now. Well, they are deemed "ready" for sale (big!). Medium and larger sizes, well cared for, good branching , taper etc. Old looking trunks. I tell ya, Sugar Snout will miss all the crabapples they put out, that means I'll have to plant her more FIG trees.............

Imported materials include Japanese White Pines, Satsuki Azaleas and Dwarf Cultivars of Japanese Maples. Collected trees are made up of American Hornbeams, Wisteria, Privet, Honeysuckle, Trumpetvine and Bittersweet.
