The "Squat Pot Stumps" link includes many varieties of bonsai material as well as some miscellaneous stumps when available. All will have been root washed, sawed flat, and potted in a squat pot nursery container. Branching has been cleaned out. This is premium material, grown for bonsai. This special material is only available during late winter. All squat pots stumps fall back into regular production by spring so get yours early!

This is the best time to obtain the advanced material/size you seek. Inquiries about available stock welcome. RED Japanese maples available- short/fat/good branching/limited #.

Excellent mini Japanese Black pine bonsai- new listing. Average is 4" base-12"tall. Email for special photo package of these mini pine bonsai.

 

I've posted some nice field grown tridents. Wide, wide flairing bases, real good trunkline wiggles (hard for the camera to pick up the forward moves, ask for side pics!) They are top quality, sawed flat bases with tons of fiber roots- all in 3" of soil- pure quality. Up to 9" wide bases in 3" of soil- unreal! Some potted, others in squat pots. These are BIG wood trees with AGE, not little toothpicks types you may have seen in other places. Well advanced, roots-branches, I've done the hard work -save money/make money -buy from the field and grow your own

WORKSHOPS AT THE NURSERY
Private instruction for advanced bonsai students is available. Bring your bonsai or obtain a bonsai here. Instruction available through out the growing season.

As propagators, growers and collectors of unusual and difficult to find bonsai and plant material, your search for that special tree may end here. Imported materials include Japanese White Pines, Satsuki Azaleas and Dwarf Cultivars of Japanese Maples. Collected trees are made up of American Hornbeams, Wisteria, Privet, Honeysuckle, Trumpetvine and Bittersweet.
