The "Squat Pot Stumps" link includes many varieties of bonsai material as well as some miscellaneous stumps when available. All will have been root washed, sawed flat, and potted in a squat pot nursery container. Branching has been cleaned out. This is premium material, grown for bonsai. This special material is only available during late winter. All squat pots stumps fall back into regular production by spring so get yours early!

Excellent BIG San Jose junipers available in squat pot form. Nice informal uprights. NO dead foliage inside. Tight growth- beefy fat trunks- SHORT. Send email to request ALL pics. Only 5 or so will post as individuals on the web site gallery. Big- some for pick-up only, weight in excess of 130lbs. (talking fat trunks here!)

Over 100 new trees have been harvested this season! It is by far the LARGEST harvest,the highest quality group of trees to be offered by me over the last 10 yrs. Individual tree sizes are quite large- no toothpicks here. They are greenhoused and ready to ship. Early pictures are available by REQUEST. Please be specific as to variety, size and style and I will forward early pictures. As they are processed, new pictures will be posted on the site. Posting will take around 5 weeks or so- early buyers win! Late winter selection offers the best choices on new material/bonsai you will find here during the season.

A group of 34 new LARGE trunk junipers are available NOW. They are LARGE thick trunks, short and fat. Most are 21 to 25" tall and sport 4 to 6" trunk diameters. All growth is compact, not leggy- serious buyers ask for early pics.

New material will continue to be harvested til April so make sure to ask for recent pics. Material in stock changes almost daily during the harvest season!

A nice selection of junipers will be offered. No "toothpicks" here, if it isn't fat, it isn't sold. PERIOD. 1st are the Green Mound junipers. Grown for well over a decade but in the WILD. Big fat trunks with good height. Excellent for students and pros alike. Very healthy, robust. Only 15 to 20 available ask early to see pics and details. 2nd junipers to be released are ofcourse the BIG San Jose. As usual, a steady supply of these babies are here but limited. Being a crowd favorite, they go FAST! 3rd juniper for late winter is Shimpaku. Excellent curvy stock/bonsai are available as well as curvy field grown and WILD field grown specimens. A good selection is here but once the curves are seen, they will go fast. Parsonai juniper is also available, HUGE trunks, taller. These make really nice massive bonsai. ACT FAST, LAST YEAR THESE SOLD OUT!

Nice selection of Japanese Maples are available late winter. Single trunks, double trunks, triple trunks etc. Several varieties are available including some really good Arakawa (cork barks) These Japanese maples are quite old and show advanced care and age- bonsai finished quality.

My, my, what a selection. Nice medium sized advanced material both potted and early winter squat pot. Large sizes are here too with the super flat root systems and FAT SHORT trunks I am famous for. These are available in squat pot also. Get 'em fast cause they go fast! Available early winter.

Alright, lets get to the pines. SUPER NICE SELCTION OF BLACK PINES ANYWHERE I HAVE HEARD OF/SEEN IN THE USA! All styles, shapes and sizes are here from HUGE entrance type black pine bonsai specimens to dwarf black pine minis. Field grown to potted bonsai. Excellent profesional quality. A few unusual pines will be released this year. Nishiki black pine, Ban Sho Ho dwarf black pine and one of my favorites, the Japanese Nishiki white pine. Nice nice nice but I almost forgot, have a few very unusual pines to release this winter- Japanese white pine/Japanese black pine- ON THE SAME BONSAI. These are really neat, unusual and pleasantly different bonsai. ONE OF A KIND. All available early winter for best selection. (I warned ya!)

Once again I offer the dwarf mountain form of Mount Fuji cherry. Slow growing in the dwarf form and produces tons of reliable flowers and blackish cherries. Nice curvy trunks but limited in quanity. Grown over a decade in the field. Ask EARLY about these, they will go fast.

ELMS ELMS ELMS

Cork bark, dwarf cork bark, regular elm. FAT FAT trunks are available with good trunk lines. These are first year digs and have huge trunks with budding branches everywhere! A crowd favorite- ask early winter to see.

Chinese Quince

Large stumps are available. Nice peeling bark and do they ever produce fruit! These SOLD OUT fast last yr in squat pot winter form so ask early. Short and fat to tall and curvy.
